  Blooming Cactus (Textured) Happy (Mixed Media) Sweet Serenity Painting, Journaling, and Relaxation This past long weekend was the perfect opportunity for me to indulge in my love for painting and creativity. Over three days, I immersed myself in various art projects that brought me immense joy and fulfillment. I spent a significant portion of the weekend working on three different paintings: 1. Landscape Painting: I created a serene landscape painting that transported me to a tranquil body of water to imagine sitting on the hill and watching the birds in the water. Embracing Artistic Diversity: My painting Journey

 My Painting Journey When I first started painting, I gravitated towards acrylics for their lack of odor and quick drying time. Little did I know that this choice would lead me on a journey of exploration through various painting mediums. Acrylics quickly became my go-to medium for their versatility and ease of use. I loved the control I had over texture and consistency, as well as the ability to layer and blend colors effortlessly. The freedom to experiment with additives only added to the excitement of creating with acrylics. However, my curiosity soon led me to explore watercolors. Despite the initial challenge of working from light to dark, I found myself drawn to the delicate transparency and ethereal effects that watercolors offered. A Journey of Self-Expression In a world that often feels rushed and overwhelming, I’ve come to cherish the quiet, sacred spaces where I can reconnect with myself. Journaling has always been one of those spaces, a refuge I first discovered as a young girl, pen in hand, heart wide open. Over the years, it’s helped me navigate love, loss, motherhood, reinvention, and healing. But as my heart has grown through seasons of change, another form of self-expression has gently taken root and flourished: painting. Painting, for me, isn’t about perfection or even planning, it’s about feeling. It’s become a powerful extension of my journal, a visual language that captures what sometimes feels too raw or layered for words alone.
