My new art space

 



I now have a new art space, a new space to be creative in.  I love the set up and can't wait to explore my space and see what I paint next!  My mom came for a visit last weekend and helped create it, she bought the cute chair, foot stool and the skinny cool looking table by the window!  

I love the space but it comes at a cost that I didn't plan on happening in my life.  This space is all my own, I'm the only one that lives here in this one bedroom 738 sq ft. house.  After 6 years of being in a relationship and living with him, I'm on my own starting over. It's almost been two weeks so things are still very fresh and raw to deal with and adjust too.

My creativity has always brought me comfort and allows reflection and healing in the process of being creative.  I will jump in and begin the process since it brings so much into my life that helps me to move forward.  It's the little things, the things that bring joy and peace in our lives that can help each foot to take a step forward.

Art on the wall

 I work at the best place! I can hand my paintings in a room for all to see here at work.  In return starting this summer I will teach a painting class.  I am very excited for the opportunity, a little nervous but mostly excited!  I have an amazing co-worker/best friend that I also share the wall with and will be teaching painting classes as well.  I will keep you all in the loop of when the classes start and if you are local and would like to join that would be awesome!
