Landscape Art

 Finding My Style

I've always been drawn to landscapes—trees, water, mountains, and skies. Even when I dabbled in photography, I focused on capturing natural light and the beauty of nature as a backdrop.

Recently, I've been pondering the type of artist I am and delving into the different styles of landscape art. There are three main types: impressionistic, abstract, and representational. Representational art captures the essence of nature in a more realistic manner, sometimes bordering on photorealistic.

For me, portraying the outdoors—rolling hills, meadows, mountains, and more—is where my passion lies. As I researched, I came across some familiar names among the top landscape artists: Leonardo da Vinci, Jan van Goyen, John Constable, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Georgia O'Keeffe.

Each artist had their unique approach, from capturing everyday scenes to experimenting with light and color. It was eye-opening to explore these different styles and reflect on my own work.

I hope you enjoy my interpretation of the natural beauty that surrounds us. Whether it's through my paintings or photographs, I strive to capture the serenity and majesty of the world around us.
