 A Journey of Rediscovery

As a child, I preferred the comforts of indoors over the wonders of nature. But as I grew older, I discovered the magic of sunsets and birds in trees. Now, at 50, I cherish moments outdoors, finding inspiration in landscapes and the sky's ever-changing hues.

Landscape paintings hold a special place in my heart, evoking peace and inspiration. Capturing the character of trees, hills, and rivers brings balance to my life. Through my art, I hope to share this tranquility with others, reminding them of nature's beauty and the joy it brings.

 Fort Davis Texas- A key post in the defense system of western Texas, Fort Davis played a major role in the history of the Southwest. From 1854 until 1891, troops stationed at the post protected emigrants, freighters, mail coaches, and travelers on the San Antonio-El Paso Road hoping to reach the gold fields of California. Today, Fort Davis is considered one of the best remaining examples of a frontier military post in the American Southwest. It is a vivid reminder of the significant role played by the military in the settlement and development of the western frontier. Art on the wall

 I work at the best place! I can hand my paintings in a room for all to see here at work.  In return starting this summer I will teach a painting class.  I am very excited for the opportunity, a little nervous but mostly excited!  I have an amazing co-worker/best friend that I also share the wall with and will be teaching painting classes as well.  I will keep you all in the loop of when the classes start and if you are local and would like to join that would be awesome!
